AFI FEST 2015 presented by Audi ANNOUNCES SPONSORS, CULTURAL PARTNERS AND AN ADDITIONAL SPECIAL EVENT: ON ACTING: A CONVERSATION WITH BENICIO DEL TORO

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, LOS ANGELES, CA, November 3, 2015 — The American Film Institute (AFI) announces today their sponsors and cultural partners for AFI FEST 2015 presented by Audi. The festival also adds the special event On Acting: A Conversation with Benicio Del Toro to the program. AFI FEST takes place November 5–12 in Hollywood, CA, at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre, the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres, Dolby Theatre, the Lloyd E. Rigler Theatre at the Egyptian, the El Capitan Theatre and The Hollywood Roosevelt.

Academy Award®-winning actor Benicio Del Toro will come to AFI FEST on Saturday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. for a conversation about his extensive career (CHE, TRAFFIC, THE USUAL SUSPECTS) and his performance in SICARIO (2015) at the Egyptian Theatre, to be moderated by Variety Deputy Awards and Features Editor Jenelle Riley.

For the 12th year, Audi is the festival’s presenting sponsor and will bring back its popular Audi Sky Lounge. Additional top sponsors include AT&T; American Airlines, the official airline of AFI; Dolby Laboratories; BRICKTOWN; Lagunitas; Netflix; New Amsterdam; Panavision; and VIZIO, the official home theater sponsor of AFI. The festival’s venue sponsors include TCL Chinese Theatres, Dolby Theatre, the Hollywood & Highland Center, The Hollywood Roosevelt and the Egyptian Theatre.

VIZIO is returning once again to sponsor the VIZIO HDR Lounge, located in The Hollywood Roosevelt. The VIZIO HDR Lounge is open to pass holders and ticket holders for specific events, and will host product demonstrations showcasing the 120” and 65” class VIZIO Reference Series 4K Ultra HD collection — the industry’s first-ever complete High Dynamic Range solution with Dolby Vision™ playback technology — as well as a variety of filmmaker panels, conversations, industry meetings and special events.

AT&T has once again created the AT&T Box Office located at the Hollywood & Highland Center. AT&T and DIRECTV will also host an exclusive AFI FEST mobile-optimized website that showcases the full schedule and details of films including cast and crew, synopses, trailers, as well as directions to any of the film or event venues.
